Good Evening All
Please excuse me for the writing in English as I do not have an Arabic keyboard. I would like to add my name to the list of authors here commenting on current affairs that are of interest to Jablah and the UK; but from a different perspective. I am a son of Jablah that was fortunate and unfortunate enough to emmigrate to the UK, despite the beauty of the UK, the warmth of Jablah says in the mind and soul. I would like to add a British Syrian flavour to the way Jablah sees the world and
vice versa; the way the world sees Jablah. I hope that despite the language i would be welcomed amongst you. I am a descendant of a son and daaughter of the lovely Jablah, wanting to keep in touch with my roots. I have visited it many times but still wishing to walk the Corniche and feel the breeze of the Mediterranean sea.
We have a lot in common: i was watching the Lunar Eclipse from my home in Scotland (North of the UK) and then saw the photos you had here. Its a small planet; our little home.
I thought its time for Jablah to meet Scotland and reciprocate the feeling Scotland does
Thank you for this Opportunity
Iyad
